Ohio is where my heart is *pre-order*

I’m sure by now most of you have heard about the Ohio train derailment that happened in the small town of East Palestine in early February.  I debated on if this was the right choice to talk about as I try to keep this a positive and fun space. What most of you don’t realize is that’s where I am from. (A small bordering town) My mom and sister were among those that evacuated, most of my family live or own businesses within 5 miles of this crash site and I also have friends that also currently reside in the town. Not to mention the unknown ecological side effects and lingering damage to a largely rural and farm driven area. It’s been a very strange experience to watch this all play out in the media while having so many roots and people in your life who’s lives this affects directly.

So we have decided to create a polish to help raise funds to help those in need.

“Ohio is Where my Heart Is” is a dove gray crelly with pink orange gold iridescent color shifting flake mixed with black flakes. This is a homage to Ohio State Colors.

A portion of the proceeds of this polish will be benefiting a local organization called The Way Station, they’re a local non-profit that provides food and basic amenities to those in need. They’re currently focusing on providing air and water purifiers to residents.

Rogue Lacquer is 5-free and cruelty-free. All polishes are mixed in small batches, which can result in small differences in color and texture from batch to batch. For best results, use with a high-quality base and top coat.
